How It Works
- 1
Set PocketBeam on a flat surface 3–10 feet from a wall or screen and plug in power.
- 2
Connect to WiFi (Smart WiFi tiers) or use screen mirroring to cast from your phone or laptop.
- 3
Adjust focus — auto-focus locks onto the wall instantly, manual-focus twists to sharpen the image.
- 4
Use auto keystone correction to square the image, then press play.

User Reviews
Picture quality is amazing
The picture quality and brightness are amazing — using this for movie night even before it's fully dark out is no problem. Sound is decent for the size, I pair a Bluetooth speaker for anything louder.
Thank you! Glad PocketBeam is holding up for movie nights.
Android system is a game changer
Upgraded to the Smart WiFi version and it's incredible — way more apps support than I expected, and it doubles as a standalone Bluetooth speaker when I'm not projecting anything.
That's exactly what we built the Smart WiFi tier for — glad you're getting full use out of it!
Perfect for camping trips
Took the Manual Focus version camping and projected onto the tent wall after dark — kids loved it. Small enough that it barely took up any space in the car.
Great for bedroom movie nights
No TV in my bedroom so this has become the go-to for evening movies projected on the ceiling. WiFi mirroring from my phone works well most of the time, occasionally needs a reconnect.
Got Questions?
Everything you need to know about using and caring for your PocketBeam.
Q.How big is the projected image?
PocketBeam projects a usable image from about 20 inches up to 300 inches depending on distance from the wall or screen, with most bedroom and camping setups landing in the 60–120 inch range.
Q.Do I need to plug in my phone?
No. PocketBeam mirrors your phone, tablet, or laptop screen wirelessly over 2.4GHz/5GHz WiFi. HDMI and USB inputs are also included if you prefer a wired connection.
Q.What's the difference between the Auto-Focus and Manual Focus Smart WiFi models?
Both run the same Android 9.0 smart interface with WiFi sync display and built-in apps. Auto-Focus locks sharp focus automatically when you move the projector; Manual Focus uses a twist ring you adjust by hand and costs less.
Q.Can I use it outdoors for camping?
Yes. At 0.6KG it's built to travel, and in a dark or shaded spot after sunset it projects clearly onto a tent wall, portable screen, or any light-colored flat surface.
